Carriage of Thoughts

Brief description/Abstract/Concept

Carriage of Thoughts is a web-based social artwork where users anonymously “plant” a short sentence as a flower in a pixel-art train cabin. Each message appears as a visual bloom selected from a curated set of flower GIFs and floats into view at a random location. When other users click on a flower, the sender’s words are revealed—before the flower quietly disappears. The piece explores digital intimacy, fleeting presence, and the quiet exchange of thoughts in shared public space.

Why this topic (motivation/inspiration)

My motivation is my personal interest in anonymous communication as emotional release and a desire to build something gentle, non-intrusive, and community-driven, where attention spans are short but intention is sincere.

Data resources

No external datasets were used. User-contributed content is ephemeral and stored only as simple text entries tied to flower assets. Visuals are sourced from public domain or artist-credited GIF flowers hosted via Glitch CDN.
